"Miracles in 2005" (2021)
Sterling silver, cubic zirconia, sapphires.
Created with two "diamonds" I found when I was six years old. The larger was found in a crack in the National Airport sidewalk, and the smaller was found in a bush by the local swimming pool. Though a jeweler told me and my mom that the stones are just cubic zirconia, my mom has kept them safe in a tiny plastic box for the past fifteen years, as though they were diamonds. Now, they have a home in this ring.
